Before people can be truly passionate and fully engaged in an organization, it has to be clear to them how their life’s work fits their organizational work. Executives will be much more successful if their personal goals align with their organizational goals. This is where Strategic Career and Life Planning comes in.
Strategic Career and Life Planning is The Systems Thinking Approach® applied to your career and life. You build a vision and measurements, then analyze where you are and come up with new strategies to achieve your life plan. These strategies become a list of actions to complete in the next year—all as part of strategic life planning for you and your family.
Purposes and Benefits:
- To help any executive or leader develop and implement a Strategic Career and Life Plan.
- To clarify the leader’s fit and role in your organization in terms of his or her career goals.
- To make people more engaged, passionate and successful in their jobs throughout the organization.
Target Audience:
This option is open to anyone in the organization. Ideally, you want to start with the CEO and executives and work downward. However, participation is up to each individual and can be part of the Training Department’s Career Development Program.
Methodology:
The Systems Thinking Approach® to Coaching™ (STAC) is based on The ABCs of Systems Thinking, our Universal Thinking Framework and GuideTM with applications to all aspects of our daily life and work. This foundational conceptual model has five phases we have applied to answer five crucial questions, beginning with “Where do you want to be?”
Our clients receive training from experienced Haines Centre coaches, skilled in the use of the STAC™ model and Gold Mastery Certified in the areas of strategic and systems thinking.
